Welcome to
Chris Harazda's Original Artwork
This is a collection of mostly doodles and some
intentional art pieces by Chris. Some of the doodles
are on odd paper scraps, or from note pads from
hospitals where I or his first wife, Melinda, also a
nurse, worked.
A few explanations may help:
There are a lot of “Good
Morning, Sweetie” notes because
when we lived out in Arizona from 1992-93, I worked the
night shift and he worked during the day, so he wasn’t
around when I woke up.
He had a few Tibetan names, only 2 of which he shared
publicly: Karma Sherab Norbu, and Jangchup Dawa. His
usual way of signing his works was his lightening bolt
symbol, which came from a dream he had as a child and
about which he eventually wrote a great spiritual poem.
Chris loved writing Tibetan words--I’m sorry to not be
able to translate them. I’m sure the Tibetan if it
appears in the corner is his Tibetan name, Karma Sherab
Norbu.
You will notice several drawings feature shoes with
separate heels, and this is because I am always
recommending this to my patients who have back, leg and
foot problems!
